I really like these lights,  my son loves these lights. We use them as accent/ night lights in the hallway,  master bedroom and my sons room. My son absolutely loves the fact that he can do a rainbow color pattern on the lights. He was so happy with this,  he had to show his Nana the moment she came to visit.

I purchased the Wyze Light Strip Pro to decorate a kid's bedroom.  Works exactly as I thought it would.  Works with Alexa and set up was very easy.  Good color rendering/range/consistency.  I use these with the Wyze Color Bulbs.  Sync to music function is a bit gimmicky, but seems to respond well.

Great lights but the 5-10 small hanging tabs easily fall off. They were attached to a plastic product but they don't stick long at all.

Stick or not

They are a solid product with many rich features that do not dissapoint. The cost of these are significantly lower than their competitors and they range in brightness so they can fit the mood perfectly nomatter the occasion. The 3m sticky on the back of the lights themselves are a strong adhesive that has not fallen off since installing but the sticky that comes on the small clamps that hold the wires down did not even stay up for an hour, so that is the only draw back. I would still purchase more and decorate my whole house with them if I could.

Rich Features That Don't Disappoint!

Definitely a great bang for the buck. Quality strips that work quite well. Only reason for dinging a star is because there are no connectors for reconnecting a strip after cutting it. Including a few flexible 3-pin jumper connectors would make doing 90 degree bends so much cleaner than the advised loop method thing. Other brands offer this, and I can't think of a reason why that type of connector wouldn't work with these. Also, some of the config options in the app for the effects seem a little glitchy at times, but that's a minor annoyance and something I'm sure a future app and/or firmware update will smooth out, so not a big deal to me.

Another quality product; one minor inconvenience

The app is really nice, well integrated, and more stable than LIFX when it comes to controlling it. I really like the power button ad well with basic color controls. That being said, the strip is no different than any other cheap light strip out there, I don't like that there's no extensions between the strip and the power switch, that makes it really hard to (for example, place the switch under a set of cabinets and use the strip for cabinet uplighting above. I understand the challenge of joining cut strips, but it would be nice to be able to space out the entire strip from the switch/power supply. Since the strip is just RGB the white color is mediocre at best.

Good app and power switch, but meh strip

It's a good product but not great. The app is good and easy to use but if you are going for a warm white or white color they seem to reflect a greenish tint. Also if you only need 4ft of light you are cutting of the other 12ft that will be waste once you do.

Light strip pro

First of all I like Wyze products and I tend to be one of the first to grab my share. First the positive.  The light strip is thick and coated giving you the feel of quality.  The installation is straight forward and very simple and the color range is great.  However, these lights have been a bit underwhelming.  The installation process could be a bit better with some additional options allowing the strip to become a true continual strip rather than split from the middle (I have a 4" led gap in the middle).  The inability to lengthen the strips with extensions limits the installation to exactly the length of the kit.  The light music modes are a bit underwhelming but not hateful.  Not for outdoor use, however, I installed lights outside into a track system and so far they have been working just fine.  The mic sensor for music is finicky and I have to have a speaker right under it.

3 Stars and Hopeful for Improvements

Love that these integrate into the wyze app for rules and app control. The music feature is awesome as well! The reason for the 2 star rating is because they have a green hue to them when set to a natural white. Especially when compared to the 16' version. Received 2 replacements from wyze support. Each got a little better than the one before, but there is still a bit of a green hue.

Great tech, but some manufacturing issues.

Got the strip and mounted it. Only a small section light up with the colors I choose. Majority of strip stays a light blue color. Tried all of the troubleshooting tips with no avail. Disappointed as I bought this as a presale item.
