It took a minute to get it up and running, but it works great! I really love the Netgear app! My only complaint was that it had already been opened. Looks like it was a returned item. Usually, with open-box stuff, you get it at a discount. I would have rather had a new one.

I was in the market for a router and looked at several models. It just happened that this one had a significant decrease in price at Walmart. I decided to give it a try. Set up was easy and so far I am pleased with the software controls and its speed.

Good Deal and Gets the Job Done

much faster then last Netgear I had that was about 3 year old.  
if u can get 5G full bars it's noticably different on phone and streaming apps.  
i have some issues with there setup so, but overall it was pretty simple and was up and going in about 5 minutes, but I'm somewhat technical so may take some longer.  delivery was fast from Walmart.

easy setup

I purchased this router after having a previous NETGEAR router for 10 years. The old router required a WiFi extender to reach all the rooms of my 2 story home, but with this new AX3600 I no longer need the extender and our internet speeds are considerably better over the old router. Would recommend!

Great Router

Since I already had the Netgear app, switching to the new router was pretty much plug and play. My download speed with Charter Spectrum went from 80-90 Mbps to 350-375 Mbps.  No problems at all.

Good choice, good purchase

Can't get into the app because it asks me Security questions I never setup before and then when I tried to register the router I bought from Walmart, as you can see in the picture, the router is registered to someone else! Ughhhh

Received someone else's router?

Worst experience I've ever had, can't believe what I went through to have to get this when I had it in my hands at one point. Wouldn't price match your website so bought through app while in store was then told wouldn't be ready for pick up for 4 hours. I couldn't wait around and live 40 min away so had to send my brother there after he got off work in which he then sat in the pick up area for over an hour and had to go inside to get somebody to get it. Absolutely terrible customer service and experience

Awful experience

Using the computer was a way simpler process just go to browser of choice search 192.168.1.1 then type in the password pick a few settings and done. Now I have to install a app on my phone using slow cell data. Then create a account then manually pick up the router check the defalt wifi info type it in connect then once the wizerd is done I then have to go back in and fix the settings. no coustome option for 5ghz or 2.4 no security options no option. No option to pick  wide or narrow ban no option to pick the frequency range. This is easy worst experience with a router setup. no nas options for usb hard drive and lacking a bunch of other features like prental controls and other things that has been standerd on even cheep nock of brands such as tp-link

Huge step backwards

The four (4) "ears" were floppy, I would tighten them up and as soon as I moved the thing, down they would go.
It was on sale so I should have been more aware of why it was on sale.
I never did get it to work.   The guidance just wasn't that good.  I have had others and they are very simple to use.
