This vacuum has surpassed my expectations! I was hesitant to buy it because it has bad reviews on the Dyson website but I can’t understand how it’s possible. I have owned Shark vacuums for the past 10 years and they have lasted but lose suction. I have only had the Dyson for a month so I can’t speak on longevity, but I am blown away by how well it cleans my carpet. I have a golden retriever and my other vacuum just wasn’t cleaning the hair very well. The Dyson has no problems getting all microscopic dirt and hair. Feels like my carpet is new again. I will definitely be sticking with this brand as long as the vacuum holds up over the years.

The Best Vacuum I have ever owned!

I love my vacuum, it picks up so much fur since I have 3 inside dogs. I've had it for a couple of months now and everything seems to be working fine. No complaints really.

not disappointed

It’s heavy but has lots of power. Gives off plastic smell when in use, maybe this wears off after a while.

Great Vacuum at bargain price

This vacuum has five star suction and for me, a three star build.  It cleans the carpets better than my Shark does but it feels flimsy and using it doesn't inspire confidence in it's durability.  Also, I'm not a fan of the design of the accessories hose.  It's not very convenient but I can live with it especially since it does such a good job of cleaning the carpets.

Good vacuum, but.....

We bought this vacum after the Dyson we had for 16 years quit working. So far we like it but it's a bit louder than our previous vacum was. The vacum pole is also plastic as opposed to metal on the old one. It seems to work really well for what we need it to do though. It manuevers great around furniture.

The parts felt cheap, and to be honest, not what I expected at all from a $400 vacuum.

Not worth it

Super heavy and bulky.  Wouldn't pick up correctly.  I thought this was new but I was sent a refurbished.

Not that impressive for the price

First Dyson I've owned that stopped working in one month. Difficulty contacting where to return.?

Dead motor

I typically love Dyson products. I had my last Dyson vacuum for nine years. This particular Dyson, I do not care for. The cord is a lot shorter and the spinner brush stopped working five months after purchase. The dirt canister is also very small.

Disappointed

Stopped working after a month and a half, conveniently right after their 30-day return window.  Walmart won't even take it back.  I emailed Dyson two times before they ever got back to me and when I was contacted, they told me that they won't take it back, but wanted to know what happened to see if they can help me. I responded and heard nothing back. 

Three hundred dollars down the drain.
